- ''Margaret'' - It took 11 years for Kenneth Lonergan's directing follow-up to the critically acclaimed ''You Can Count on Me'' to arrive in theaters, in part because the film was stuck in limbo while the director and the distributor argued over the running time. The studio eventually released a 150-minute cut of the story about a teenager (Anna Paquin) who witnesses a bus crash and the aftermath of the event. Audiences can decide who was right as the Blu-ray includes both the theatrical release and Lonergan's cut, which adds a half-hour of footage. Mark Ruffalo, Matt Damon, Allison Janney and Jean Reno co-star. (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, $39.99 Blu-ray/DVD combo)
- ''The Flowers of War'' - Christian Bale took a break from his Dark Knight duties to star in this Chinese film by Yimou Zhang (''Hero,'' ''House of Flying Daggers''). Bale plays an American trapped Nanking, China, in 1937, while China and Japan battle for control of the city. He takes refuge in a church with a group of schoolgirls and a group of courtesans.
The disc includes a five-part making-of documentary. (Lionsgate Home Entertainment, $27.98 DVD, $29.99 Blu-ray)
- ''The Note 3: Notes from the Heart Healer'' - Genie Francis returns for the third film based Angela Hunt's books about an advice columnist. In this installment, when a baby is left on her doorstep, she tracks the truth about the child and the mother in this Hallmark Channel feature described as a story of hope, inspiration and second chances.
The disc includes deleted scenes and a featurette on Francis and co-star Ted McGinley. (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, $22.99 DVD)
