Jazz trumpet player Sean Jones, a 1996 Warren G. Harding High School graduate, comes home to perform with the Top Notes at 7 p.m. today at the Warren Community Amphitheatre, 303 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Jones spent six seasons as lead trumpet player in the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Wynton Marsalis, and currently serves as artistic director for the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra as well as teaching at Dusquesne University and Oberlin College. ''No Need for Words,'' Jones' sixth album for Mack Avenue Records, was released in 2011. The concert is part of the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County's summer concert series, and admission is free.
