MADISON, Wis. - Jerry K. Butz, 69, formerly of Lordstown, died June 9, 2012, in Madison, Wis.
He was born Sept. 25, 1942, in Cincinnati, the son of Lee Earl and Claire Elizabeth Butz.
Jerry served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Antietam from 1960 to 1963.

He had worked at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Doehrel Butz; three daughters, Karen Vendl of Colorado, Kathy Steele of Wisconsin and Kimberly Windedahl of Texas; a brother, Daniel of Indiana; a sister, Sue Strunk of Mason; and six grandchildren.
Burial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Glendale, Ohio.
