BRISTOLVILLE - Walter L. ''Abe'' Parke, 86, died 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at the Hospice House in Poland.
He was born Jan. 22, 1926, in West Mecca, the son of the late Alva and Edith Millikin Parke.
Walter worked at ITT Grinnell as an assembler.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Orwell, where he was an usher and money counter; Mecca Moose Lodge; Trumbull County Farm Bureau and the Pipe Fitters Local 396.
Walter enjoyed traveling, music and polka dancing.
He served in the Army during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth ''Betty'' Slusher Parke, who he was married to for 55 years; a sister, Grace Balogh of Niles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl Parke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church in Orwell with the Rev. David Weikart officiating.
Calling hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E., Warren, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Orwell.
