INSPIRING?MINDS?SETS?EVENT: The Inspiring Minds Summer Enrichment program will host the ''Best Summer Ever'' at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Harding High School's Warren G. Harding High School, Mollenkopf Stadium. The event will be highlighting the progress of 160 participating students from Warren. The program is designed to surround students with positive mentors aiming to develop character, community pride, mindfulness and leadership skills. Students are taking part in art classes, sports, community service, swimming and field trips.
FOUNDATION TO MEET: The Kayla Irene Daniels Cure for Cancer Foundation will meet at 6 p.m. Friday at the administration building conference room, 1864 State Route 88, Bristolville. Anyone interested in being a volunteer can attend or call 330-889-9600.
FESTIVAL SET AT UNIVERSITY: The Summer Festival of the Arts will be held Saturday and Sunday at Youngstown State University campus. Volunteers age 14 and older are being sought to assist at this year's event with children's activities and performances For information, call 330-941-2307.
CLASS TO MEET: Warren G. Harding High School June 1949 class will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday for lunch at the Welshfield Inn, Parkman.
ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Southeast Side Community Association will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the St. James White Hall, corner of Milton and Willard S.E., Warren. Guest speaker is Brittany Grey, field organizer. There will be special door prizes.
MUSEUM OFFERS CRAFTS: ''Hands-on-History'' is being offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 15 at the Arms Family Mission, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Activities will include arts and crafts, games stories, pioneer artifacts and dress-up clothing in the history room and museum. The event is free and open to the public.
