MINERAL RIDGE - Joseph E. Hunsinger, 66, passed away at home Thursday.
He was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Hazleton, Pa.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he retired as a truck driver after many years of service.
Hunsinger is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Bieble; four children, Joseph Hunsinger of Buck Mountain, Pa., Jimmy Hunsinger, Jackie Zumdimo and Chris Yacnac, all of Hazleton, Pa.; two step-children, George Hvise of Niles and Jennifer Hvise of Steubenville; three sisters; one brother; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Red; and two brothers, Buddy and Ernie.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
