CAMPBELL - Merritt W. Galford, 71, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
He was born March 31, 1941, in Elkins, W.Va., a son of Forest A. Galford and Laura M. McCloud Galford Spurling.
He was a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Shields Galford; three sons, Merritt, Christopher and Timothy, all of New York; a daughter, Geri, also of New York; and a sister, Mamie Simmons of Warren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny, a brother, and two half-brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
