WARREN - Jessie Jilg, 77, of Warren, died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at her residence, peacefully with her family by her side.
She was born April 6, 1935, in Evans City, Pa., a daughter of the late Henry Barkey and the late Blanche Irene Potts Barkey. She married Donald Jilg on June 4, 1956.
She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. She worked for Hills Department Store and enjoyed sewing, traveling and flower gardening.

Jessie attended the Warren First Church of the Nazarene. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Jilg of Warren; sons David Jilg of Memphis, Tenn., Daniel (Debbie) Jilg of Novi, Mich., Michael (Phyllis) Jilg of Bazetta and Tim Jilg of Wales; her daughter, Lori (James) Myers of Bristolville; her sisters, Wanda Beck of Alliance and Marilyn (Wayne) Cearfoss of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a brother, Danny (Rhetta) Barkey of Beaver Falls, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Irene Hughes and Jean Enslen; and brothers Dale Barkey, Robert Barkey and Randy Barkey.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Warren First Church of the Nazarene, where the Rev. Broe Davis will officiate. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.
The family requests that material contributions in her memory be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512.
