The engagement and upcoming marriage of Sarah E. Macovitz and David M. Verdinek are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Lori Brooke of Salem and David Macovitz of Struthers.
Parents of the groom elect are Nancy and Mark Renzenbrink of Boardman and David and Sue Verdinek of Boardman.
Miss Macovitz graduated with a social work degree from Youngstown State University and is employed by Valley Counseling Services Inc. as a social worker.
Mr. Verdinek is employed as a poltrusion pperator at Vinyl Profiles Inc. in North Jackson.
The couple will be married during an open wedding ceremony to be held on Aug. 4, 2012, at Fellows Riverside Gardens Kidston Pavilion in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the reception at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
