MINERAL RIDGE - Thomas Edward Sedlock, 70, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the Hospice House.
Tom was born June 26, 1941, in Warren, the son of the late John and Mary Welsh Sedlock.
A 1959 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and a Vietnam veteran, he served as a microwave and radar superintendent for the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring at the rank of master sergeant.

Tom was a former member of the Niles Moose Lodge 627 and the VFW Post 4192 in Mineral Ridge.
He was an avid golfer, belonging to leagues at Hidden Oaks and Mill Creek, and had golfed all over the world.
He was an avid animal lover, especially of his miniature donkeys and horses.
Tom was also a Cleveland Indians and Notre Dame fan, and wrote editorials for local newspapers.
His wife, the former Elfi Carlson, whom he married Feb. 19, 1974, passed away in 1996.
Tom will be sadly missed by a son, Scott (Julie) Sedlock and their daughter, Madison, of Destrehan, La.; two stepdaughters, Cindi (Dennis) Olsen and their children, Carly and Derek, of Colorado and Joni Baker of Washington and her son, Shane (Jessica) Thomas of Colorado; a brother, Jack Sedlock of Mineral Ridge; a sister, Pamela (Charles) Mayfield of Mineral Ridge; a great-stepgranddaughter, Lyla; a nephew, Jeff (Jan) Sedlock; a niece, Terry (Michael) Ronyak; and two great-nephews, Michael and Bradly.
Besides his parents and wife, Tom was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Glassford; and a granddaughter, Taylor Sedlock.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of the Valley and the Hospice House for their care provided to Tom.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House or Hospice of the Valley in Tom's name.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
