MIDDLEFIELD - Clyde "Tom" Ohl, 80, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at University Hospital Case Medical Center in Cleveland.
He was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Middlefield, the son of Clarence and Grace Bennington Ohl.
Tom was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver from Burton Rubber Co.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Ohl of Middlefield and Timothy Ohl of Auburn; a daughter, Kathye Dietrich of Middlefield; his companion, Marian Hickox; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Johanne Kalsch; and four siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. June 30 at Russell Funeral Service in Middlefield, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Middlefield Cemetery.
