A group of 4- and 5-year-olds who will be entering preschool and kindergarten in the fall lined up their bikes Wednesday to take part in the annual Howland Safety Town hosted by the Howland Fire Department. The program, which is being held this week at Howland Glen School, is a way to educate children on accident prevention, safety awareness and preventive procedures, using both an outdoor layout and indoor classroom.
