CHAMPION - Linda Kay Hall Stevens, 72, was granted her angel wings on June 18, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center following a sudden illness, as her loving family surrounded her.
She was born Feb. 24, 1940, in Warren, the daughter of Russell and Jane Morgan Hall.
She was a lifelong homemaker. Her husband Lester, her children, grandchildren and dogs (Bubbles, Benji and Baby) were the most important things in her life. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, shopping and camping and was always an avid garage sale lover.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 54 wonderful years, Lester Stevens, whom she married April 7, 1958; two sons, Denny of Warren and Donny (Donna) of Champion; one daughter, Sue Huggins of Leavittsburg; six sisters, including Judy Dickson and Barb Glass; eight grandchildren, Cassondra (Scott), Melissa, Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Brittany, LeAnne and Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Hall and Jane and Ed Dickson, and a brother, Bobby Dickson.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday. Pastor Tom Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be at Champion Township Cemetery.
