BAZETTA - Karen L. Toth, 46, died at 12:16 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her residence, after a heroic battle with cancer.
She was born Nov. 24, 1965, in Cleveland, the daughter of Howard and Elaine Potochar Brown.
Karen was a graduate of Maple Heights High School and had previously worked as a dispatcher for the Maple Heights Police Department for 16 years. She was a member of St. William Church and she had a great love of animals.

On June 26, 2002, she married James E. Toth, and he survives.
Also surviving are two children, Zachary and Morgan Toth at home; parents, Howard and Elaine Brown of Champion; two brothers, Kenneth (Jill) Brown of Aurora and Kevin J. (Stephanie) Brown of Rome; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Kathleen Toth of Parma; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stephen (Traci) Toth of Parma, Nick Kopcho of Parma and Chris Kopcho of Parma, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Michael Brown.
A memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. William Church, 5411 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44483, with the Rev. Michael D. Balash officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Zachary & Morgan Toth Scholarship Fund c/o The Middlefield Banking Co.
Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483.
