Mildred M. Incarnato 1920-2012

GIRARD - Mildred Marie "Millie" Incarnato, 92, died at 6:57 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at the home of her daughter and surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 28, 1920, in Lowellville, the daughter of Nina Moss Mechling Rosenberger.

Mildred was employed at Packard Electric during World War II. After the birth of her daughter, Mildred became a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles and enjoyed cooking, baking, especially pizzeles, trips to the beach, ice cream, roller skating and dancing.

She also enjoyed watching her favorite sports teams, the Cleveland Indians and Penn State football. Most of all, Mildred loved spending time with her family and doing for others as she always wanted to see those that she loved happy and content.

Her husband, Joseph James Incarnato, whom she married Aug. 31, 1946, preceded her in death Feb. 5, 1994.

She will be deeply missed by a daughter, Linda (Patrick) Cassidy of Niles; a brother, Raymond Rosenberger of Warren; two granddaughters, Kelley (fiance, Vince Franco) Cassidy of Warren and Heather (Christian) Todd of Cleveland Heights; and a great-grandchild, Jackson Todd. Also left to cherish her memory are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Rosenberger; and two sisters, Pauline Hunter and Beulah Rosenberger.

Mildred's family would like to thank all of the nurses, aides and volunteers at MVI Homecare and Hospice for their compassionate care of Mildred during the last few years of her life. Mildred's family would also like to thank Joann Baugh, Wendy Hornyak and Ardis Fleck for caring for Millie and keeping her company.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles, where the Mount Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct 7:30 p.m. prayers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, preceded by a 9 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
