WARREN - Scott H. Klinedinst, 55, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown after a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 22, 1957, in York, Pa., the son of Henry R. Klinedinst and Mildred E. Shewell Klinedinst Atkins, and had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.
A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Scott loved the outdoors and enjoyed kayaking, fishing, hunting and bicycles.
Surviving are his mother, Mildred E. Atkins of Warren; a brother, Todd (Kathy) Klinedinst of Wilmington, N.C.; and a sister, Kathy Eckert of York.
Preceding him in death were his father; his stepfather, Howard Atkins; and two brothers, Steve and Jim Atkins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Joseph Doran officiating.
A celebration of Scott's life will follow in the church hall.
