CHURCH HOSTS FESTIVAL: Blessed John Paul II Parish will hold its family festival Thursday to Sunday on the St. Pius X Church grounds, 1401 Moncrest Drive. The festival is 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 11 p.m. Sunday. The event will include rides, Chinese auction, bingo, games and ethnic food. LIBRARY HOSTS FLAG DAY PROGRAM: In honor of Flag Day, Harry Schoger of the Sutliff Museum's Civil War 150 Committee Speaker's Bureau will present a program about Trumbull County and Ohio in the Civil War at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Newton Falls Library.

MISSION TAKING PART IN CONTEST: The Warren Family Mission has been chosen as one of the finalist in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good. Voting will take place on June 20 on Facebook and Twitter. The mission that receives the most votes will receive a new vehicle for client services.
