CORTLAND - Marc Titus, 46, of Cortland, died Thursday, June 7, 2012.
He was born April 6, 1966, in Cleveland, a son of LeRoy Titus Jr. and Carolyn Kline.
Marc was a 1984 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, where he was a member of the football team and attended Youngstown State University.

He joined the Warren City Fire Department in April 1991 and was a member of the Honor Guard.
During the last eight years, he served as the president of the International Association of Firefighters Local 204.
He was dedicated to the fire department and has always gone above and beyond duty. He was very staunch about keeping Warren and the fire department moving forward.
Marc was a former Marine and served as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Specialist.
He was among several Warren firefighters given the State Fire Marshal's Award for Heroism for pulling four people from a burning group home in a Bonnie Brae arson case in 2009. He also received numerous other awards during his time with the fire department.
Marc led local efforts last year to repeal Senate Bill 5, a law that would have limited the collective bargaining rights of public employees.
He was an avid Browns and Indians fan and enjoyed motorcycles, jet skiing, golf and especially his friends and family.
Above all, Marc was a dedicated father and his life revolved around his three daughters.
Survivors include his children, Jennifer Titus of Wilmington, N.C., and Julia and Lindsey Titus, both of Cortland; his father and stepmother, LeRoy and Elaine Titus Jr. of LeGrange, Ind.; mother, Carolyn Kline Brown of Newark; brothers, Jonathan Titus of Cleveland and LeRoy Titus III of LeGrange, Ind.; sisters, Cherie (Brian) McCafferty of Spring Lake, N.C., Lori Titus of Columbus, and Autumn Powell of Tacoma, Wash.; and significant other, Sabrina Williams.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Steven Brown.
Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren.
A private service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012, with the Rev. Neil Heller officiating and full military honors.
