Dear Editor:
I have kinfolk who live in Florida. I visit usually once a year, and earlier this year, like a month ago, the gas prices there were very similar to ours. That is generally the pattern through the years, give or take 10 cents a gallon.
I just checked on the computer for the gas prices in Pensacola, Fla., and guess what? The price down there right now, and I mean ''now'' (Thursday), is between $3.18 to $3.22 a gallon.
So what the heck is going on around here? Why are we paying 40 to 50 cents more a gallon? I would love to hear other comments about this issue. What's going on in Ohio?
