The engagement and upcoming marriage of Courtney Shea Pilch and Vito Joseph Abruzzino are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Louis and Robin Pilch of Salem. Parents of the groom-elect are John and Phyllis Abruzzino of Niles.
Miss Pilch is a graduate of Salem High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Mount Union and a master of arts degree in school counseling from Walsh University. She is employed as a school counselor at Boardman Glenwood Middle School.
Mr. Abruzzino is a graduate of Warren John F. Kennedy High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from West Virginia University. He is employed as a judge advocate for the United States Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.

The couple is planning a sunset beachside ceremony in July on Sanibel Island, Fla.
Invitations will be issued for an adult reception to be held in September at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
