Mechee Gasparek and Jeffrey Thomas were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 12, 2012, at St. Charles Church in Boardman.
A reception was held following the ceremony at DiLucia's Banquet Centre, Warren.
The bride is the daughter of Darius and Tressa Gasparek of Boardman. Parents of the groom are Jim and Nina Thomas of Niles.
Attending the bride as maids of honor were Makaa Gasparek and Miah Gasparek. Bridesmaids were Jessica Thomas, Amy Hurnikel, Hayley Withrow and Lindsay Sechrist. Alaina Santor served as flower girl.
Sharing the duties of best man for the groom were Jimmy Thomas and Charlie Pierce. Groomsmen were Ron Fike, Phil Hornikel, Tom Kuhn and Merle Smith. Lorenzo Sprockett served as ringbearer.
The new Mrs. Thomas graduated from Youngs-town State University and the University of Akron. She is employed by Dental Works in Niles.
Mr. Thomas is employed as a carpenter for Mascaro Construction in Pittsburgh.
The couple resides in Hocking Hills.
