LEAVITTSBURG - Kelsie Meadows Sr., 83, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
He was born March 13, 1929, in Williamsburg, Ky., the son of the late Berry and the late Martha Neil Meadors.
He married the love of his life, Barbara Cox, on Feb. 2, 1950.

He was employed as a laborer at Copperweld Steel Corp. for 31 years.
Kelsie enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by four daughters, Donna (Donald) Keating of Avondale, Pa., Sheila Macaluso of Leavittsburg, Rebecca (Bill) Fry of Niles and Carla Meadows of Niles; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sonny Meadors of Youngstown and Milford Meadors of Southington; and three sisters, Lois Faler of Leavittsburg, Vee Blessing of Florida and Roberta Carpenter of Niles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Berry and Martha Meadors; his wife, Barbara J. Meadows; a son, Kelsie Meadows Jr.; a daughter, Diana Meadows; two brothers, Jerry and Ancil Meadors; and a sister, Ollie Swango.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at General Assembly Church of God, 2021 E. River Road, Newton Falls, OH 44444, where the Rev. B. Glen Rader will officiate. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at General Assembly Church of God. Interment will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery, Warren.
Arrangements are being handled by Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren.
