The W.D. Packard Concert Band will take listeners to Hogwarts and a galaxy far, far away at its next outdoor concert.

The film scores of John Williams will dominate the program, which will be conducted by Robert Jorgensen, director of bands and professor of music at the University of Akron.

Williams has won five Academy Awards for his songs and film scores and he's been nominated 47 times. Sunday's program will include the symphonic suites from ''Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'' and ''Far and Away,'' a march from ''1941'' and music from the original ''Star Wars'' trilogy.

Performing with the band will be Tucker Jolly, a tuba player and professor at the University of Akron. Jolly started that city's popular TubaChristmas concert. He will be the guest soloist on John Baptiste Arban's ''The Carnival of Venice.''

Other selections include Franz von Suppe's ''Morning, Noon and Night'' overture, William Hines' ''Amazing Grace'' and John Philip Sousa's ''Stars and Stripes Forever'' march.

The concert starts at 7 p.m at the south lawn band shell of Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Admission is free and funding is provided by the W.D. Packard trust. For more information, call 330-841-2931.
