WARREN - Robert Elwood Stewart, 68, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at University Hospital of Cleveland of natural causes.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1943, in Fremont, the son of the late Donald Vincent and Hazel Belle Summerville Stewart-Uber.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for JB Hunt & Scheinder Int.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen R. Stewart of Warren; two daughters, Charlita Verba of Lebanon and Ramona Ramsey of Warren; two sisters, Donna Dennison of Braceville and Ruth Ann Hopkins of Warren; one brother, the Rev. James E. Stewart of Burghill; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Warren.
