The engagement and upcoming marriage of Jessica Schwartz and John King are being announced by the couple's parents, Daniel and Pamela Schwartz of Johnston and John and Elenora King of Bristolville.
Miss Schwartz is a 2006 graduate of Maplewood High School and received a bachelor's degree in agricultural and biological engineering from Penn State University in 2010. She is pursuing her master's degree in horticulture and crop science at Ohio State University and will graduate this December.
Mr. King graduated in 2002 from Bristol High School and studied business at Youngstown State University. He is employed as the office and finance manager at Schwartz Farms in Cortland.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Aug. 25, 2012, at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception to follow.
