The engagement and upcoming marriage of Taylor Rae Phillips and John David Miller are being announced by the couple and their families.
The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Rae Lynn Phillips of Kinsman. Parents of the groom-elect are Bill and Linda Miller, also of Kinsman.
Miss Phillips is a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in safety management. She will be employed by CNA Insurance in Philadelphia this summer.

Mr. Miller is a 2011 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he majored in political science, and was commissioned as an ensign in the U.S. Navy. He is pursuing a master's degree at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
The couple will be married during a wedding ceremony to be held on Dec. 22, 2012, at Kinsman United Methodist Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow at the Victorian Ballroom in Niles.
