Carol Thornton and Curtis McKellar are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Elizabeth Marks of Warren and the late Curtis Marks. The groom-elect is the son of Juanita Stephens of Warren.
Miss Thornton graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School, Hiram College and Trumbull Business College. She is employed by General Motors in Lordstown.

A graduate of Ayersville High School, Mr. McKellar is employed by Mullinex in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held July 7, 2012, at New Jerusalem Fellowship Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to be held at Roby Lee's Banquet Hall, Newton Falls.
