Warren's Courthouse Square was filled with people May 11 and 12 as the community gathered for the 2012 American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Teams kept the track full for twenty four hours as walkers did laps around the Courthouse. The Relay included fun activities for the teams such as theme laps, live entertainment, a duct tape fashion show, and the Mrs. Relay contest where men dressed up as women and competed to raise the most money.
Local Relay officers said they hope to meet their $380,000 fundraising goal by August. As of Sunday, a little more than $360,000 was raised.
