WARREN - The city school district has officially named two new coaches to head its high school basketball program.

Warren City Schools Board of Education on Tuesday awarded supplemental contracts to Andrew Vlajkovich, who will oversee the boys team, and Frank Caputo Jr., new coach of the girls team at Warren G. Harding High School.

Supplemental contracts are effective for one year and call for each coach to be paid an annual amount of $10,000.

Vlajkovich, who served as a varsity assistant and junior varsity coach, is taking over for Steve Arnold, who moved into the head football coach's position last year. He teaches social studies at the juvenile justice center.

Caputo teaches physical education at Warren's Jefferson K-8 building. Paul Trina, athletic director, said Caputo has served an assistant football and basketball coach.
