The engagement and upcoming marriage of Julia Marie Shuttic and B.J. Haffele are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Shuttic of Cortland.
Parents of the groom-elect are Mary Fenneken of Columbus and Michael Haffele of Freeport, Ill.
Miss Shuttic is a 1999 graduate of Lakeview High School, a 2003 graduate of Walsh University with a degree in accounting, and a 2010 graduate of Ashland University, earning an MBA in finance.

Mr. Haffele is a 1996 graduate of Groveport Madison High School and a 2000 graduate of Columbus State, with a degree in landscaping.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held July 21, 2012, at the Ohio Village Church, in Columbus.
Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception to be held at the Ohio History Center.
