The engagement and upcoming marriage of Melissa Dilley and Michael Harris are being announced by the bride-elect's mother, Karen Dilley of Champion. Miss Dilley is also the daughter of the late Mark Dilley Sr.
Parents of the groom-elect are Alan and Cindy Harris of Marion.
Miss Dilley graduated from Kent State University in 2010, with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is employed as a news reporter for the Other Paper in Columbus.

Mr. Harris is a member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve and serves as a loadmaster at the 910th Airlift Wing in Youngstown.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held June 16, 2012, at St. Francis Assisi in Columbus. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
