The engagement and upcoming marriage of Megan Leigh Hockensmith and Walter Thomas Kotuba are being announced by the couple.
The bride-elect's parents are Jack and Vicki Hockensmith of Girard. Parents of the groom-elect are Kathryn Kotuba of Beaver Balls, Pa., and the late John T. Kotuba.
Miss Hockensmith graduated from Kent State University with a master of art degree in speech pathology. She is employed as a speech pathologist by St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

Mr. Kotuba received a bachelor of science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He is employed as senior environmental technician for Groundwater and Environmental Services Inc., in Cranberry Township, Pa.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held July 14, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Howland. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to be held at Leo's Ristorante in Warren.
