Angela Bata and A.J. Giancola were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Oct. 22, 2011, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard. The Rev. Timothy O'Neill officiated.
A reception followed at The Lake Club in Poland.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Bata of Hubbard and Thomas Bata of Lake Milton. Parents of the groom are Raymond and Sherry Giancola also from Hubbard.

Serving as maid of honor was Natalie Bata, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anna Giancola, sister of the groom; Marisa Mackos, cousin of the bride; Christy Lalli; Abbey Hancock; Anna Martin; Annie O'Brien; and Erica Vranches.
Tony Giancola performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen included T. Bart Bata, brother of the bride; Josh Colletta; Andy Hamilton; Jerad Jordan; Dean Marshall; John Martin; Chris Sikora; and Scott Watkins. Ring bearer was Anthony Mymo, the bride's nephew.
The new Mrs. Giancola graduated from Kent State University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as the human resources manager with Nordstrom in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Giancola earned a degree in civil engineering from the Ohio State University. He is a civil engineer with the Pennsylvania department of transportation in Oil City, Pa.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Hubbard.
