LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Lori Lynn Lieberman, 42, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012, at The Porter Hospice at the Johnson Center in Centennial, Colo., after a seven-year battle with cancer.
Lori was born July 16, 1969, in Englewood, Colo., the daughter of Richard C. and Paula Reed Lieberman. She was a graduate of Columbine High School.
Lori attended Texas Christian University and received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado. She obtained her master's degree in education of the deaf and hard of hearing from the University of Arizona. While studying in Arizona, she worked at the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind.

Lori was a teacher of the hearing impaired. She began her teaching career in San Marcos, Texas. After returning to Colorado she taught for two years at Fort Logan Elementary School in Sheridan, Colo., and for eight years in the Douglas County School District.
Lori was a member of Green Mountain Presbyterian Church.
Lori is survived by her parents of Lakewood; her brother Dennis (Emily) Lieberman and nephew Liam Lieberman, of Littleton, Colo.; her uncle, Dr. Richard (Jan) Reed of Albuquerque, N.M.; her aunt, Jayne A. Lieberman (Terry Kelligher) of Cortland; and many cousins in Colorado, Ohio, North and South Carolina, Utah, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Nancy Reed and Carl and Ersilla Lieberman.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held April 14 at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church, 12900 W Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, Colo. 80228, with the Rev. Gretchen Bretz and The Rev. Dr. Joseph Woodson officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Aspen Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deacon's Fund or the Columbarium Fund at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church.
