The engagement and upcoming wedding of Brittanie Lynn Gillium and James Lee Baugher are being announced by the couple and their families.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Scott and Melanie Bower of Southington. Parents of the groom-elect are Harold and Cindy Baugher, also of Southington.
Miss Gillium, a graduate of Chalker High School, is pursuing her degree in radiology at Kent State University. She is employed by Covelli Enterprises as a bookkeeper.

Mr. Baugher also graduated from Chalker, and is pursuing his degree as a registered nurse at Kent. He is employed by Johnsonite in Middlefield and is the varsity boys' baseball coach at Chalker High School.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Oct. 6, 2012, at the Southington United Methodist Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow at Roby Lee's Banquet Center in Newton Falls.
