DEAR EDITOR:
I would like to express my dismay to the elected officials of Warren. Last spring, I submitted emails to everyone from the mayor to the street department superintendent about the condition of South Pine Street. I work at RG Steel LLC and have to drive this stretch of road every day to and from my job.
The condition of Pine Street is deplorable. When this plant was in shut-down mode in 2009, all I read about was the tax dollars that the city and county were losing due to the closing. Now that we're back up and the tax revenue is back, how about some road replacement, not repairs?
