WARREN - Michael E. Churman, 86, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Autumn Hills Care Center.
He was born May 1, 1925, in Tyler, Pa., the son of John and Anna Obsetnik Churman.
As a young man he worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Michael worked for American Welding for 33 years and retired in 1986.
He was a member of the Warren Moose Lodge, and enjoyed bowling, playing golf and horse racing.
His wife, Donna Scheidgger Churman, whom he married Aug. 15, 1948, passed away Dec. 19, 2001.
Michael leaves his daughter-in-law, Ann L. Churman of Howland; two granddaughters, Cindy and Kathy Churman of Howland; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Lombardo of Howland.
In addition to his parents and wife, Michael was preceded in death by a son, John R. Churman; a brother, George Churman; and four sisters, Mary Karafa, Sue Vingle, Agnes Churman and Ann Yarnell.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Sinchak and Sons Funeral Home, where the memorial service will follow at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
