DEAR EDITOR:
White Christian males wrote and signed the British Magna Carta, the U.S. Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. These documents are the basis of modern free society and cover all races and creeds. Are they perfect? No, there is no such thing as a perfect in the physical world.
Karl Marx wrote his version of the free society. Vladimir Lenin and his Bolshevik Communists took that one and ran with it. The Communists promised the Russian people cradle to grave jobs and housing, food and medical care and free education. Does that sound familiar? The Communists are atheists who don't believe in individual freedom and personal property rights.
There are people in our country who are called liberals and they seem to have a problem with our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. They seem to be especially annoyed with our first and second amendments and any mention of God. These liberals are elitists who share a lot of similarities with the Bolsheviks.
In the 1960s their numbers started growing with the drug induced war protesting free love hippie movement. In the past 40 years they have grown large enough and powerful enough to overrun and gain control of a major U.S. political party called the Democrats. This was my party, the party of Roosevelt, Truman and Kennedy. This party no longer exists. They also claim to support labor unions but only because they collect millions of dollars in dues money that the union leaders give them. Cut off the dues money and we will find out how passionate the labor support is.
We all know how Bolshevik Communism turned out in the Soviet Union. Most of us who are old enough remember the old commie quote "we will take America without firing a shot." That day is here.
Liberals like to call people names when they can't make a valid argument. They call our founding fathers names. I hope they call me names because I'll be in good company.
