Gerald and Betsy Spring of Dover are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather Spring of Stow, to Stuart Gibbs, son of Milo and Louise Gibbs of Farmdale.
Miss Spring graduated from Dover High School in 2004. She is a 2007 graduate of Kent State University with an associate degree in early childhood education and technology. She is pursuing her bachelor of early childhood education at the University of Akron. She is employed as a supervisor at Starbucks.
Mr. Gibbs graduated from Maplewood High School in 1998 and from Youngstown State University in 2008 with a master's in middle childhood education. He is also a 2011 KSU graduate with a master's degree in information science. He is employed as a Target team leader.
