The engagement and upcoming marriage of Amy Anne Weeks and Edward Harrison Mackiewicz are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Weeks of Champion. The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mackiewicz of Cortland and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Parish of Howland.
Miss Weeks is a graduate of Bristol High School and received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Akron. She is employed as a registered nurse at Akron General Medical Center.
Mr. Mackiewicz is a graduate of Lakeview High School and received his bachelor of arts in social studies education from the University of Mount Union. He recently received his master of education from Kent State University.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding Mass to be held June 16, 2012, at St. William Church in Champion. Invitations will be issued for the Mass and an evening reception at the Grand Pavilion of the Magnuson Grand Hotel in Warren.
