The engagement and upcoming marriage of Sabrina Suri and Kenneth Gilbert are being announced by the couple's parents, Anita Suri and Pramod Suri of Howland, and Joanne and Calvin Gilbert of Warren.
Miss Suri graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and subsequently received her degree in industrial and systems engineering from Ohio University. She is employed by Honda of America Manufacturing as an engineering consultant in Columbus. She also owns and operates Joie de Vivre Events, a Central Ohio-based event planning agency.
Also a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Kenneth obtained degrees in finance and real estate and urban analysis from the Ohio State University. He is employed by JPMorgan Chase as a senior financial associate in Columbus.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held in May 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. Invitations will be issued for the Catholic ceremony as well as the Hindu ceremony, and a reception to be held at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown. Following the wedding, the newlyweds will honeymoon in Fiji and reside in Dublin, Ohio.
