BOYS?BASKETBALL

SOUTH RANGE 90, EAST PALESTINE 69: SALEM - Brandon Pluchinsky scored 31 points, much of it coming on his eight 3-pointers as the Raiders beat the Bulldogs in a Division III sectional final. Dan Good also had a big night with 28 points, but half of those came at the foul line, where Good made good on 14 of 17 attempts. Buster Reiser (25 points) and Jake DiCello (16) led East Palestine.

SPRINGFIELD 55, WATERLOO 35: SALEM - Nick Russell scored 20 points and the Tigers set the tone early by outscoring the Vikings 16-4 in the first quarter on their way to a Division III sectional semifinal victory at Salem High School. Ronnie Rogers added 13 points for Springfield. Zach Morgan did most of the damager for Waterloo with 20 points, including all four of the Vikings' 3-pointers.

GIRLS?BASKETBALL

WESTERN RESERVE 50, CRESTVIEW 49: CANFIELD - Colleen Kennehanscored 14 points to lead the Blue Devis (20-2) to a win in a Division IV district semifinal game on Wednesday at South Range High School. She was helped by 12 points from Hannah Mowery, who also hit three 3-pointers, and Sissy Stubbs, who scored 11 points.Ashley Harrison led all scores with 19 points for the Rebels (16-6).

LOWELLVILLE 55, LISBON 19: CANFIELD - Kaya Solak scored 15 points for the Rockets (20-2), who also got 11 points from Taylor Visdac. Pam Pierce led the Blue Devils with nine points.
