Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Morrison of Aiken, S.C., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tessa Elizabeth Morrison to Jonathan Paul Blackburn of Simpsonville, S.C., the son of the Rev. and Mrs. David Blackburn of Brevard, N.C.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of Robert and Shirley Danch of Aiken, S.C., and paternal granddaughter of Sam and Mary Jane Morrison of Hubbard. Grandparents of the groom-elect are the late Edward Shigley and Helen Shigley and James and Martha Blackburn and the late Della Blackburn, all of South Carolina.
Miss Morrison is a 2009 graduate of Aiken Christian School. She is pursuing a pre-medicine degree from Southern Wesleyan University.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held June 23, 2012, at Cedar Creek Church, Aiken, S.C.
