Mr. and Mrs. Rendell Richards of Summerfield, N.C., are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Kelsey Brianne Richards to Jeremy Allen Markovich, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Markovich of Cortland.
Ms. Richards graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication. She is director of advertising at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Markovich is a 2002 alumnus of Ohio University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. He is the special projects producer at WCNC-TV, and a contributor to Charlotte and Our State magazines.
