The engagement and upcoming marriage of Lajetta Hughley and Ricardo Evans are being announced by the bride-elect's mother, Jacquelyn Hughley of Warren. The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Charlse Bender.
Parents of the groom-elect are the late Peggy Evans and Clem Evans, formerly of Farrell, Pa.
Miss Hughley graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and Raphael's Beauty School of Culture. She is employed as a cosmetologist.

Mr. Evans is a Farrell High School graduate. He is employed by Vista Window Co. in Warren.
The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held Aug. 25, 2012, at Elim Christian Center, Warren. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to be held at DiVieste's Banquet Hall in Warren.
