ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS: The Alzheimer's Association will hold its monthly Caregiver Support Groups on the following dates:

Today at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.

Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. at Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road N.E., Howland Township.

Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1350 E. Market St., Conference Room F, Warren.

SPINAL HEALTH CARE: A free spinal health care class is being offered from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Massaro Chiropractic.

EMERGENCY BIKE NITE: Quaker Steak and Lube in Austintown, in conjunction with Heels 'n Wheels Entertainment, will host an Emergency Bike Nite from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, where the Heels 'n Wheels Ladies will be on hand running raffles and awarding prizes.

The Heart Association of the Mahoning Valley will offer blood pressure screenings and have information on hand regarding their organization. A portion of the evening's events will benefit the Heart Association.

Indoor bike games will be run by Hairy George of the Fast and Hairy Bike Show.

SAFETY COUNCIL OFFERS COURSES: The National Safety Council, Northern Ohio Chapter, 23 E. Boardman St., Suite 343, Youngstown, is offering a defensive driving course. To register or for more information, call 330-747-8657.

The course is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday. this is an approved course for ODOT and ODA, rate reduction by some insurance companies and violation remediation for some counties and states. Cost is $30.

FIBROMYALGIA SUPPORT GROUP: The Mahoning Valley Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive in Boardman.

The meeting is free with the purpose of offering support, education and sharing for those experiencing pain, fatigue and other effects of a chronic, invisible disease.

CHRONIC FATIGUE AND/OR FIBROMYALGIA: Chronic Fatigue and/or Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 20 at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave., Warren. For more information, call 330-847-7001.

PARTY HEARTY ZUMBATHON: Licensed zumba instructors Sandy MacDougall and Terri Dean are holding a Party Hearty Zumbathon fundraiser from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 29 at 8094 E. Market St., Warren.

This event is part of the American Heart Association's Go Red For Your Heart movement. The cost is $5, and all proceeds will go directly to the AHA.

The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement encourages awareness of cardiovascular disease and helps empower women to take charge of their health.

FLU CLINIC TO BE HELD: A flu clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. daily at Warren West Community Health Center, 716 Tod Ave., Warren. Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted. All others are $20 each. Walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call 330-373-0222.

OSTOMY SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET: Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The next meeting is Feb. 14 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, Cedar Room.
