John and Cynthia Serich of Poland are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jaclyn M. Serich of Niles, to Thomas L. Williams of Girard.
The groom-elect is the son of Cheryl Williams of Girard and the late Mickey Williams.
Miss Serich received a bachelor's degree in respiratory care from Youngs-town State University. She is a sleep technician at St. Joseph Diagnostic Sleep Lab in Warren.

Mr. Williams also graduated from YSU and is employed as a police officer there after earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown will be the setting for the couple's 2 p.m. open wedding ceremony, to be held on Sept. 8, 2012. Invitations will be issued for a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
