Brookfield Township held its safety night this fall where area children from Brookfield, Masury and Hubbard were able to meet firefighters and police officers and also K-9 Searching Out Scent dogs which help with search and rescues. Children Zoe Fox, 8, RJ Hall, 9, Mitch Sydlowski, 8, and Justin Hall, 6, meet dogs Kaila and Gracie, both German shepherds, Granite, a yellow labrador, and Wrigley, a Newfoundland.
