Mr. and Mrs. Bernard and Joyce Gill were honored recently at a 50th anniversary celebration at Tod Avenue United Methodist Church. The event was hosted by the couple's children, Michael (Laura) Gill, Gary Gill and Cindy Gill. Also hosting were their only grandchild and Debra Fabrizio and Kevin Bosak.

Mr. Gill and the former Joyce McMillen were united in marriage on Dec. 27, 1961, at the Warren Seventh Day Adventist Church, by the Rev. Ellen Rowan.

Rowan helped celebrate the occasion, along with most of the original wedding party, Nancy Williams, matron of honor; and bridesmaids Lucy Galayde and Ila Jo McMillen, sister of the bride; Twila Breese, flower girl; and Frank Williams, best man.
