Garland "Gar" and Saranell Braniger of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Warren, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Nov. 20, 2011.
Mrs. Braniger retired from Margaretta school, where she served as a bus driver.
Mr. Braniger is an employee of the Ford Louisville Assembly Plant as a stationary engineer.
